  2. #5 Bass Too Loud In Mix, Mix Sounds Muddy Or Too Boomy 35% of the hip hop songs I get in are very bass heavy, they go over 0 level, have no dynamic range, and are usually distorted too. The big bass you're looking for is added in the mastering process, along with a boost in overall song volume level.
  3. Nov 19,  · perfect timing. i have what sounds like a good mix but it’s just too quiet. i did a remix whereby i made everything louder, but it changed the overall dynamics and just doesn’t sound as musical. so instead of feeling good about having achieved a decent mix, i’m bummed because it’s too quiet to sound convincing. going to try this limited.

  5. Oct 17,  · Even on the lowest settings I find it too loud. I've looked for apps to fine tune it and maybe lower the volume stepping but I can't find anything useful. I think the ringer volume stepping is 14%, is there any way to change this to something like 7% so we have finer control of the volumes? ps.
  6. Too much compression and/or limiting can make a mix sound really confused, aggressively 'shouty' and hard to listen to — and there's little point in making your mix sound loud if the end user simply gets the urge to turn it down or off because it sounds unpleasant!

Like when I go to work in the morning its so loud. I just got all of my brakes fixed and everything rodors and all.

If you mix at a louder level dB your ears response flattens off so a better balanced mix will result when played back at similar levels.
